My name is Robert Isaiah and I have been studying music for the last 20 years and am just as passionate about it today as when I first began. It all started with me singing along with friends to the Phantom of the Opera in my car in High School and snowballed into an exciting ride that has taken me many exciting places in my life. I completed a B.A. in Vocal Performance from Seattle Pacific University and then moved to New York City where I got the opportunity to study with amazing coaches from such highly-regarded institutions as Manhattan School of Music and perform with some of the most talented musicians from all over the world. Most recently I performed the role of Monostatos in a production of The Magic Flute at Manhattan Opera Studio which was followed up by a concert at Carnegie Hall where I sang the aria Dies Bildnis by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. My favorite musical theater role was Claude in Hair, my favorite aria to sing is E Lucevan Le Stelle from the Opera Tosca and my favorite sacred music piece to perform is the Lord's Pray by Mallotte. Recently I launched a musical entertainment company based in New York City called Nielsen's Opus and we provide classical music entertainment for special events, including weddings, holiday parties, and private salons in our clients' homes. Check out our website at nielsensopus.net for more information. Thank you so much for stopping by!
